Kung-Tien Liu received his PhD from Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan University, Taiwan and worked in Institute of Nuclear Energy Research (INER) for around 29 years till 2011. After 2011, he concentrates his major activities on the GxP related compliance issues for the development and applications of pharmaceuticals. Currently, he is the Deputy Director of Administration Office, Pharmaceutical Business Unit, Everlight Chemical Industrial Co. (ECIC). During those periods, he accomplished research in the structure elucidation and analytical method development of radiopharmaceutical precursor, i.e. ligands, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). Katarzyna Pawlak has completed her PhD in the field of analytical chemistry at the age of 27 years from Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) and postdoctoral studies from Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, France) and Gdańsk University of Technology. She is the director of School of Liquid Chromatography and Hyphenated Techniques at WUT, vice-President of Polish Society of Mass Spectrometry and expert of National Cuncil of Supplenets and Nutritional Products. She has published more than 45 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.

Jianmin Chen has completed his PhD at the age of 29 years from Fudan University. He is an atmospheric Scientist, distinguished professor and directors of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Atmospheric Particle Pollution and Prevention, and International Collaboration Base of Climate and Environment (Ministry of Science and Technology of China) at Fudan University. He was a visiting associate professor at University of Pittsburgh from 1996 to 1997, and regularly visiting scientist in Institut de Combustion Aérothermique, Réactivité et Environnement-CNRS. He has published more than 180 pre-reviewed papers in geoscience and chemistry journals such as Chem. Rev., J. Amer. Chem. Soc., Atmos. Chem. Phys., Environ Sci. Technol. and J. Geophy. Res., and serving as an associated editor of Sci. Total Environ., and board members of Aerosol Air Qual. Res., J. Environ. Sci. and Adv. Environ. Res.. He was honored as de chevalier dans l'ordre des palmes académiques, and the Enjoyment of the State Council of China special allowance in 2015.

King-Chuen Lin received his Ph.D. from Department of Chemistry, Michigan State University in 1982. After postdoctoral career in Cornell University, he joined Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan Univ., Taiwan. He has been awarded as Distinguished Research Fellow of National Science Council, from 1996 to 2002. He is a Distinguished Professor of National Taiwan University from 2005. He received an academic achievement from the Chemical Society located in Taipei in 2009. He has published more than 140 scientific papers in prestigious international refereed journals in the area of physical chemistry, chemical physics and analytical chemistry.

Dr. Hai-Long Wu, born in 1961, is a Professor of Analytical Chemistry of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hunan University since 1999 and the Former Director of the State Key Laboratory of Chemo/Biosensing & Chemometrics (Hunan University). He received his BS in 1982 and M Sc in 1985 as well as Dr Sc in 1992 in Analytical Chemistry from Hunan University. He worked at Hunan University during 1985-1993, and then went to Japan and received his Dr Eng in Applied Chemistry from Chiba University (Japan) in 1998. Dr. Wu has published over 230 papers in LC-DAD, LC-MS, chemometrics and chemical sensors in international journals. He is a winner of The Second Prize of the National Natural Sciences Award of China in 2003 and a winner of the Liang Shuquan’s Award on Fundamental Research in Analytical Chemistry from The Chinese Chemical Society in 2012.

At present he is working as team lead in Analytical research and development section of Eisai Pharmaceuticals India Pvt. Ltd. He is expect in analytical research related to various phases of drug development cycle. He in familiar with impurity profiling studies, metabolite profiling, de-novo sequencing of peptides using LC-MS/MS (Triple quadrupole & HR-MS/MS), GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS and other advanced analytical instruments. He has completed his M.S in Analytical Chemistry in 1998 and currently pursuing Ph.D. in Mass spectrometry – Rational workflows. He published 4 publications in the field of Mass spectrometry (1- poster presentation, 1-review article and 2-research paper).

Dr. Cassy has completed her PhD at the age of 28 years from University Teknologi Malaysia and has more than 7 years of experience in analytical field. She is currently the Analytical Lab Manager of Synthomer, an aqueous polymer organization with existing products in Industries of coating, construction, textiles, paper and synthetic latex gloves. She has published paper in Microporous Mesoporous Materials Journal, Environmental Technology and Innovation Journal, a Co-author for the Book Chapter –Membrane-Based Solid Phase Extraction (UTM), had 1 patent for Method of Extracting Chemicals (Nitrosamines) in Water, (PI 2014-003377), presented in APCE 2016-Malaysia (Determination of Trace Impurities in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients using Synapt-G2-LCMS QTOF and has been serving as a Hon. Treasurer of Chemical Institute of Malaysia (Southern branch).

Currently Dr. Cassy Chong is managing analytical laboratory which involve Polymer synthesis and its characterization by GPC/SEC, FTIR, DSC, GCMS/FID, Particle Size by Zetasizer, CHDF, Surface tension, ash content and DMA. It also includes GCMS method development for purity checking, volatile organic compound (VOC) identification/quantification and impurity profiling. In addition, she has interest in studying of De-formulation/Reverse engineering of paint, sealant and compounded polymer.
