Biography
Dr. Hai-Long Wu, born in 1961, is a Professor of Analytical Chemistry of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hunan University since 1999 and the Former Director of the State Key Laboratory of Chemo/Biosensing & Chemometrics (Hunan University). He received his BS in 1982 and M Sc in 1985 as well as Dr Sc in 1992 in Analytical Chemistry from Hunan University. He worked at Hunan University during 1985-1993, and then went to Japan and received his Dr Eng in Applied Chemistry from Chiba University (Japan) in 1998. Dr. Wu has published over 230 papers in LC-DAD, LC-MS, chemometrics and chemical sensors in international journals. He is a winner of The Second Prize of the National Natural Sciences Award of China in 2003 and a winner of the Liang Shuquan’s Award on Fundamental Research in Analytical Chemistry from The Chinese Chemical Society in 2012.
